What is All On 4 ?

The all-on-four method has been applied for twenty years and has been scientifically proven to be successful. In the technique, two implants are placed in the back of the jaw at a 30-45 degree angle. The other two implants, which are placed perpendicularly in the front region, are placed in the front region. When the bone melts in the molar region in the lower jaw, the lower jaw nerve passes through here, but the maxillary sinuses in the upper jaw prevent implants from being placed in these areas. Advanced surgical techniques are required to place implants here, which requires a treatment period of approximately one year and high costs for the patient. Despite these anatomical difficulties, the patient is given the opportunity to have a fixed prosthesis. In the all-on-four technique, patients place their implants in the morning and receive their temporary fixed prosthesis in the evening. Permanent main prosthesis is applied after 3 to 4 months. Patients never remain toothless during this period.
